We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst to enhance and maintain the analytics processes and code that power Euromonitor's internal Forecast Model and support Passport data updates.

The role requires strong programming skills in Python or R, familiarity with cloud computing, and a genuine interest in data analytics. In addition to internal forecasting work, the role will contribute to client consulting projects, applying analytics expertise to solve business problems end‑to‑end — from defining client objectives and data preparation through to insight generation and presentation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and improving data processing code, including mathematical and statistical transformations
  • Contributing to peer reviews and solution design discussions
  • Drawing insights and conclusions from analytical outputs
  • Staying up to date with modern programming and cloud technologies
  • Maintaining clear documentation and sharing best practices across the team

Requirements

  • Advanced R/Python knowledge.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL.
  • Ability to automate complex data analysis processes
  • Understanding of data flows, migrations, ETLs, pipelines, and other similar tools
  • Understanding of process scaling and parallelization.
  • Understanding on how to write a production-ready code.
  • Knowledge in econometrics, statistics and economics.
  • Knowledge of Dockers, Rest API, JSON data format would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of cloud computing services platforms providers (Azure, GCS, other)
  • A genuine interest in Artificial Intelligence and related fields like data science and Machine learning would be an advantage.
  • The confidence and ability to take the post forward with the minimum of supervision.

Nice to have:

  • M.A. degree in statistics, econometrics, data science, mathematics, economics, or similar field. Highly skilled candidates with a B.A. will also be considered.
